Don't Become a Victim of Health Insurance Fraud

Unfortunately, health insurance fraud is rampant in the US. It's difficult to protect yourself from being victimized. As a matter of fact, people who are scammed might not even know it, until such time as they submit a claim. Only then do they discover that the once their claim is denied, that they have been victimized.

Is there a chance to prevent health insurance fraud from happening to you? Would you be aware of what to look for? There are many different characteristics of this fraud, but one in particular for you to watch out for: health insurance coverage being offered at a ridiculously low cost.

Be cautious of spam mail that promotes cheap health insurance, especially if you've never heard of the company offering it. Before you take any action, it's best to research the company's credibility. You can find ratings of health insurance companies at http://www.ambest.com. You can also verify that the company is licensed to transact business in your state, by contacting your state insurance commission.

Even if the company seems legitimate, you still should read and understand the offer. Check out the fine print. And to be wary of an offer that asks you to pay the total premium in advance, or insists you pay in cash.

Another step you can take is to contact your local hospital or family doctor and ask them if they accept this insurance. In fact, ask them if they'd even heard of it.

If you feel that you are a health insurance fraud victim, take the following three steps:

File a complaint with your state insurance commissioner.

Get in touch with your bank to prevent any scheduled future automatic insurance payments.

Speak to your local law enforcement officials.

Prevention is the best way of protecting yourself from health insurance fraud. If you are careful to begin with, you will avoid much anguish afterwards.

About Guild Wars

Guild Wars is a series of massive multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPG) developed by ArenaNet of NCsoft, the make of many popular MMO's. There have been 3 stand alone games that have been released and one expansion. All installments of this game have been released solely for Windows systems.

The thing that makes Guild Wars different from most other massive multiplayers, is that it is a subscription-free game. Thats right, after the cost of the actual software, there are no monthly charges. The way Guild Wars makes money is by making its players pay nominal fee for extra areas. Guild Wars' online system is similar to Battle.net developed by Blizzard, as its totally free for both PvP and PvM players. Coincidently, many of the developers from Blizzard that worked on the Diablo series and some that were involved with World Of Warcraft were also involved in the development of Guild Wars as well.

Development of Guild Wars 2 is in progress, but it is unknown when the game will be released. There are rumors of an early 2008 closed beta release.

The original release of Guild Wars offers over 30 class/profession combinations and more the 200 quests. Each of the stand-alone releases and expansions includes more character professions, quests, and map areas to explore. Guild Wars has a gold based economy and as a result there are many services offering game currency and items for real world cash.

Just because Guild Wars is free doesn't mean you should brush it aside as a game not worth your time. Guild Wars has game play features and graphics that are competitive with other MMORPG's available on the market.

Guild Wars has won numerous awards since its release in April 2005 and has sold far more than 4 million copies. This obviously doesn't mean there are that many active players, but it's a good measure of the games popularity. It is a game that puts a majority of the games information on the users PC so they could cut back on bandwidth costs of their free protected servers. Essential files are downloaded at start-up and the rest of the data is downloaded in the background while you play.

Guild Wars is a great deal of fun to play, and I myself have wasted hours behind the screen playing this game. Guild Wars as a very low learning curve, so those new to the genre as well as MMORPG veterans can both enjoy this game.

So Tell Me, Why is it That I Want to Blog?

Blogging was conceived of in mid '90s. It used to be a way to comment on a given web page, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out one's opinion on that page. What started as a simple, single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages and pages of personal opinion on just about anything and everything under the sun. As it continues to evolve and advance, online marketing has tapped into the blog's potential.

Basically, blogs were first introduced as web logs that refer to a "server's log file." It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Web logging gradually saturated the digital community making the Internet an incredible source of super information.

Nevertheless, with the advent of online marketing, blogs had gradually taken the spotlight in providing businesses a chance to improve their productivity online. This is where the business blogs have taken center stage.

Blogging is the real deal. In this day and age where advertising permeates our lives, we question the credibility of marketers' claims. However, in blogs, real everyday people like you and me share their real-life experiences, unfettered by paid advertising. Reading blogs about personal product use is like talking to people about their actual experience with that product. You most certainly want to buy a tried and true, tested product.

Blogging builds authority and trust. As you get more and more into documenting your experiences on a given product or niche, your readers come to realize that they can depend on your posts for their own information needs. As such, you become an subject matter expert. As a result, more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs. As companies and professional entities realize the growth of your readership following, they may decide to contact you to advertise on your blog pages, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.

Business blogs are usually published to market the services or products of a particular web site or online business in an effort to improve online sales. Furthermore, commercial blogs are also one way of spotlighting the company so that the readers will know that a certain company is out there online. With blogs, entrepreneurs are able to establish a name in the digital market through news, articles and information that can be extremely useful in the reader's endeavors.

Blogging builds your market. Unless you are a movie star, chances are, only your mother reads your posts. Mother has a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how interesting your blog site is. But you need not depend on Mom to increase your readership base.

You can build your market through e-mail. In today's shrinking world, blogging is overshadowing the e-mail's popularity in rapidly and effectively reaching and expanding a niche market. In this age of speed and instant access, logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer than logging into a blog site. Let them explore your websites by sending a short e-mail message as a tickler to your blog site. If your e-mail is on a completely different subject, use your e-mail signature to provide a link to your site.

Additionally, you can join a blogging network. This is a collective group of of blog sites that share the same market, niche, interest, reader base, payment gateway, or anything else that tends to make you a group of like-minded bloggers. Buyers find credibility and ease in clicking one link to communicate with many real bloggers about a single issue. Most definitely, many bloggers are better than one.

Make no mistake about it, blogs are not created just for the fun of it. Blogging also has its own place in the world of Internet Marketing. So, for those of you who wish to succeed in your entrepreneurial, home base businesses, at least where writing is concerned, blogs are an excellent venue for making your mark on the world.

So there you have several good reasons why you should be blogging. And if you still just want to blog for fun, go ahead. Somebody's out there waiting for your post.

My name is Don Resh and I've been helping people create and improve their Home Based Business web sites for years. My goal is to help you by providing valuable information and software tools that give you an edge with your Internet Marketing efforts.
